COMPATIBILITY

Are Kegel conditioners and cleaners compatible with QubicaAMF conditioners and cleaners?

Conditioners: No, QubicaAMF and Kegel conditioners have not been tested for compatibility in dual conditioner tank systems. When switching conditioners, we always recommend that you flush your system before adding your new conditioner. Cleaners: Yes, QubicaAMF cleaners may be used on Kegel conditioners, and Kegel cleaners may be used on QubicaAMF conditioners. However, cleaning ratios and programming may need to be adjusted.

Can we use the QubicaAMF conditioners in our Kegel lane machine and vice versa, Kegel conditioners in our QubicaAMF lane machine?

Yes, QubicaAMF conditioners may be used in compatible Kegel lane machines and Kegel conditioners may be used in compatible QubicaAMF lane machines. However, we do not recommend using Current or Terrain Lane Conditioners in wick machines (even with a tank heater) as they contain additives that do not allow them to properly flow through the wick.


MARKETING

Why is QubicaAMF outsourcing their lane care supplies?

QubicaAMF has always outsourced the development, manufacturing, and regulatory compliance of our lane care chemicals. It makes sense for QubicaAMF to focus on selling these products and leave the formulation, manufacturing, and compliance to the experts at Kegel.

Will Kegel be adding any new QubicaAMF branded products in the near term?

That is our goal. We expect new products to be added to the QubicaAMF line beginning in 2022.

What if I have a problem with an older product that I purchased prior to the transition?

PRODUCT DETAILS

Are the products the same formulas as before?

Most likely no. Due to government regulations including environmental and shipping regulations, some formulas have changed to be compliant. All products, regardless if the formula changed or not, have been lab tested and bowler tested to ensure the same performance and characteristics of the original product.

Will any of the part numbers change?

Most part numbers will remain the same. However, product shipped internationally will now include an “-INT” (international) at the end of the part number. This will signal to Kegel to use appropriate labeling that will include translations and information that is compliant with regulations for international shipping.

Has the packaging changed?

Yes, to increase manufacturing efficiency, the packaging has changed. We also took this opportunity to modernize the overall look of the product line. However, total case volumes will remain the same. Where can I get Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for the new chemicals?

Safety Data Sheets (SDS) will be available for download here. SDS will also be included in each case of product.


PURCHASING

Where do I buy QubicaAMF lane care products?

In the U.S., distributors will purchase directly from Kegel, U.S. bowling center customers may purchase directly from QubicaAMF or from their QubicaAMF distributor. International customers will continue to buy from their QubicaAMF distributor or sales office.

I am a military bowling center, where do I buy QubicaAMF lane care products?

Military bowling centers should purchase directly from QubicaAMF.

Can I still buy these items from the QubicaAMF eShop or by calling into the QubicaAMF Richmond office? (US center)

Yes, nothing changes in how U.S. centers place orders for their QubicaAMF lane care supplies. Centers can place orders through the QubicaAMF eShop or by calling our Account Services team at 1-866-460-7263 (QAMF), Option 2, or by contacting your QubicaAMF Authorized Distributor.

When will Kegel have stock of QubicaAMF lane care products? Should I buy extra now?

We expect the first of the Kegel manufactured products to be available in September. Since all products have been tested to ensure the same performance characteristics as the original product, you should not need to change or alter your ordering habits.

Can I buy other Kegel products from QubicaAMF?

No, not unless your local QubicaAMF distributor or sales office is an Authorized Kegel Distributor. This agreement has NO effect on Kegel branded products or distribution of Kegel branded products.


QUALITY

Are the QC and testing methods the same for QubicaAMF and Kegel products?

Yes, QubicaAMF products will be lab tested in the same manner to assure quality and consistency for all products.

Have the QC and testing methods for QubicaAMF products changed?

All QubicaAMF products will now follow the Kegel lab QC procedures to ensure the highest level of quality and consistency.

Can Kegel help me with my pattern if I'm using QubicaAMF products?

Yes, Kegel's Technical and Pattern support team is available to help you meet the needs of your Bowling Center.

Do QubicaAMF products count towards Kegel's extended warranty?

Because the Kegel and QubicaAMF Distribution networks are not entirely the same, the QubicaAMF chemical supplies will not count towards the Extended Warranty for Kegel lane machines.
